Police Brace for Teen Takeover at McDonough Trampoline Park

Urban Air Adventure Park near Henry Town Center along Jonesboro Road in McDonough, where authorities say a large teen gathering has been promoted on social media for this Saturday night.

MCDONOUGH — Henry County police say they are preparing for a possible “teen takeover” event advertised for Saturday, March 7, from 4pm to 9pm near Henry Town Center along Jonesboro Road. Authorities say they are coordinating with Urban Air Adventure Park, nearby businesses, and public safety partners to monitor activity and respond if large crowds gather. Read more at 11Alive

Georgia’s New DREAMS Scholarship Could Put College Within Reach for More Students

HENRY COUNTY- A major new financial aid program called the DREAMS Scholarship is set to launch in Georgia, offering need-based support to students who still struggle to cover college costs after other aid is applied. Starting in Fall 2026, eligible students attending public colleges or technical schools could receive up to about $3,000 per year while gaining experience through work, internships, or community service opportunities. The program gives students a chance to launch and operate their own ventures while competing for funding and the opportunity to advance to the Georgia FLEX state finals.
