⛽ Fill Up Now: Georgia Suspends the Gas Tax and Henry County Drivers Will Feel It

HENRY COUNTY -Some relief is on the way at the pump. Governor Brian Kemp signed two bills Friday aimed at putting money back in the pockets of Georgians, including a 60-day suspension of the state's motor fuel tax as fuel prices climb amid rising tensions involving Iran. Here's what it means for Henry County drivers. The plan could save drivers about 33 to 34 cents per gallon, which could mean about $10 less per fill-up. FOX 5 Atlanta

🌿 The Yellow Dust Is Here: What Henry County Needs to Know About Spring Allergy Season

HENRY COUNTY- If your eyes have been watering and your nose won't quit, it's not just you. Pollen season typically peaks between late March and mid-April, and right now we're heading straight into the thick of it. Oak, pine, and birch trees are among the biggest contributors to spring pollen counts in the region, and mild winter combined with sudden warming trends means trees can begin releasing pollen far earlier than people expect. 👑 Locust Grove Teen Beauty Queen Headed to Las Vegas to Represent Georgia

LOCUST GROVE- Locust Grove High School student Victoria Mylan Mobley has been crowned United States of America's Teen Georgia 2026, and she's taking more than a crown to the national stage in Las Vegas this March. The 16-year-old is the founder of Girl, Yes You Can!, a youth empowerment initiative that hosts an annual conference for girls ages 8 to 19. Hear her full story at FOX 5 Atlanta

McDonough Mayor Kicks Off Town Hall Series March 31

MCDONOUGH - Mayor Kamali "Kam" Varner is bringing city hall directly to the community with a new series of District Town Hall meetings, and the first one is just around the corner. The District 3 session is scheduled for March 31 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at McDonough City Hall, 136 Keys Ferry St. It's designed to provide residents with a direct line to the mayor and city officials.
